ABOUT THE RACE
This is our inaugural Super Warrior 5K. We encourage family and friends to participate and dress up as their favorite “Warrior” or Super Hero. The Super Warrior 5K, is hosted by Stripes of a Warrior, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that originated in Anaheim, California. It will be held on January 20th, 2018 at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim Hills. Our mission is to help cancer Warriors FIGHT cancer financially. We provide financial assistance to those that have been diagnosed with cancer and are unable to afford their medical bills, housing, medication, or food expenses, etc.
Race registration will start at $30 and will increase to $45 as the event approaches. Registration on Race Day will be $50.
KID'S FUN RUN
Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under. Parents can run with their children but cannot register for the Kid's Fun Run. Kids will receive a finisher medal, bag, t-shirt, and bib. Registration in $20 and $25 on race day.
The run will start and finish between Shelter 4 and 5 inside the Park. The course runs through the beautiful Yorba Regional Park. The route is paved and stroller friendly. There will be Mile markers along the route, and if you are WALKING the 5K course, please stay as far to the right on the course as possible. Strollers, and dogs are welcome! The 5K is chip timed and your individual timer starts and stops as soon as you cross over the START/FINISH line, so no matter where you are in the line-up you can have a winning time.

A bag including your t-shirt, Bib number, and additional goodies is given to each registrant at day of packet pick up. Packet Pick up is Thursday January 18th from 12pm-8pm, location TBA. If you are unable to attend the pre-race pick-up then you can check-in and receive your bib and bag at the race between 7am-8:45am.
RAFFLE AND SILENT AUCTION
At race packet pick-up we will also be having a Raffle and Silent Auction. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each and is open at the packet pick-up on Thursday and the winners will be displayed at the Raffle/Silent Auction Tent right after the race, please check our board to see if you won. The Silent Auction bidding and Raffle will continue to be open until the race STARTS. If you win an item in the Silent Auction we will ask you to pay directly following the race. Again please check to see if you won after the race is over. Winners will NOT be announced over the speaker system.
Parking will be available through out the whole park. Parking is also available on the street. Please allow ample to park, walk to the start, use the restroom, stretch, and warm-up.
We are in need of volunteers to help with our 5K. Whether you are a student in need of volunteer hours, a family, or a person who loves to give back, we want your help.
